The PvP (Player versus Player) mode in Aetherion Chronicles represents the virtual arena where players test their teams against other users in strategic, ranked challenges filled with rewards. PvP is designed not only as a competitive content, but also as an economic engine and a point of creative expression, where every tactical choice can make the difference between victory and defeat.
Ranked Arena
The Arena is the heart of the PvP system. It is an asynchronous environment where players challenge other users' defensive teams and climb a seasonal leaderboard.
Basic Mechanics:
Players form a visible defensive team for others.
Each challenge is played in real-time only from the offensive side (the opponent is controlled by AI).
Wins and losses determine the gaining or losing of ranked points.
Each season has a set duration (e.g., 2 weeks / 1 month).
Ranking & Tiers: The leaderboard is divided into categories (e.g., Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Supreme Ether), each with:
Daily or weekly reward bonuses
End-of-season prizes (premium currency, runes, shards, exclusive NFTs)
Strategy & Defense: Success in the Arena depends not only on the attacking team but also on the defensive setup:
