Fusion system (Soul Fusion)
The Fusion System, known as Soul Fusion, is an advanced mechanic designed to offer players a strategic way to optimize their NFT character roster, while maintaining the balance of the on-chain economy through a controlled and meaningful burn system.
Soul Fusion combines the logic of collecting, investment, and experimentation, providing an alternative method to gacha for obtaining rarer characters or those with unique traits.
General Mechanics
Soul Fusion allows the player to combine two compatible NFT characters to create a new semi-randomly generated NFT, with traits derived from the originals.
Process:
The player selects two compatible "parent" NFTs (e.g., same rarity or element).
Both NFTs are irreversibly burned.
The system generates a new NFT character with:
Equal or higher rarity
Stats derived (averaged/weighted) from the originals
Possible exclusive abilities or unique traits (only through fusion)
Fusion Rules
Requirements: Only NFT characters (on-chain) can be fused.
Cost: Fusion requires a variable amount of $AETH and special materials.
Compatibility: Only units with compatible traits (e.g., same rarity, element, class, or specific combinations) can be fused.
Burn: The two original NFTs are permanently removed from the supply.

The fusion system is designed to reward investment while maintaining a controlled risk factor.

Stat Calculation
The statistics of the new character are determined based on a weighted average of the parents, with the possibility of bonuses or penalties depending on compatibility and fusion type.
Example:
A tank character and a DPS fused together could create a hybrid with high defense but also a decent attack.
Characters with opposing traits may result in unpredictable hybrid units, but with unique passives.
